“These waffles may look super decadent, but they're pretty darn healthy.
”
Ingredients
- 4 whole-grain toaster waffles
- 2 tablespoons whipped cream cheese
- 1/4 cup low-fat sour cream
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 5 medium strawberries, sliced
- 2 teaspoons honey
Preparation
Toast the waffles until crisp. While the waffles are cooking, stir together the cream cheese, sour cream and vanilla extract.
When the waffles are done, spread the cream mixture over two of them. Drizzle with honey and lay the strawberries on top. Top each with one of the two remaining waffles to make the sandwiches.
Cut in half and eat with your hands or a fork and knife.
