Ingredients
- Mini ice cream cones
- Pink candy melts
- Pink and orange Sixlets (or similar candy) or fruit gummies for a healthier alternative
- 1 batch of Rice Krispies Treats (You can find the classic recipe here.)
- White nonpareil sprinkles
Materials
- Cookie scoop
- Plastic Ziploc bag or pastry bag
Preparation
Prep mini cones ahead of time by filling them with Sixlets, other candy, or fruit gummies. This helps to weigh them down so they don't topple over when the scoops are added.
Make Rice Krispies Treats, then let them cool to the point that you are able to handle them.
Use a cookie scoop to create the "ice cream" scoops, packing firmly and leaving enough excess on the sides for a natural ice cream scoop look. sugar to the bag(s), then seal and shake until well coated. Spread the mixture out on wax paper to cool.
Squeeze and gently remove the treats from the cookie scoop, then add them to the candy-filled ice cream cones.
Melt candy melts. Pour into a plastic bag, then cut off a corner for a makeshift piping bag. Drizzle over treat scoops.
Before the candy melts set, add nonpareil sprinkles and top each with a Sixlet.
