Pottery Barn Kids has a wide selection of bags for kids, such as the Mackenzie collection of backpacks, bags and luggage. The pieces in this collection come in a wide variety of colors and designs, so it's easy to find something your child will want to carry.

Mackenzie Backpacks

Mackenzie backpacks come in three sizes: Pre-K, Small and Large. There are also rolling backpacks available. Pre-K backpacks hold a snack and a change of clothes, while Small backpacks accommodate two small notebooks, two books, a lunch bag and a water bottle. The Large and rolling backpacks hold two small notebooks, one large notebook, several books, a lunch bag and a water bottle.

When it comes to appearance, Mackenzie backpacks come in lots of different styles. Some of the available designs include:

Mackenzie backpacks are made from 600-denier polyester, so they're resistant to rips, snags and tears. They're also extremely water-resistant, so your child can carry their backpack on rainy days without damaging it. These backpacks have adjustable straps and padding for a comfortable fit; the rolling backpacks have wheels for easy transport.

These backpacks also have straps that hold a Mackenzie lunch bag in place, as well as side pockets to hold a water bottle, both of which are sold separately.

Mackenzie Lunch Bags

Lunch bags are another part of the Mackenzie collection. Like the backpacks, they can be personalized with a name or initials and are crafted from 600-denier polyester. There are several types of lunch bags available in this collection:

• Classic Lunch Bags -- This style of lunch bag holds a mini, medium and large Spencer container and utensils. Or, it can hold a Spencer bento box and utensils.
• Retro Lunch Bags -- This lunch bag holds a tiny, small, medium and large Spencer container, our hot/cold container and a nesting medium container. Or, it can hold a Spencer oval bento box, stainless steel nesting medium container and a water bottle.
• Dual Compartment Lunch Bag -- The dual-compartment lunch bag holds Spencer containers of all sizes, a hot/cold container and a stainless steel nesting medium container. Alternatively, it can hold an oval bento box, nesting medium container and a water bottle.
• Cold Pack Lunch Bag -- This Mackenzie lunch bag holds the same items as the Retro and dual compartment lunch bags and is made for holding cold items.
• Insulated Lunch Bag -- The insulated lunch bag sits upright on its own and keeps foods hot/cold for extended periods of time. It has a Velcro closure and holds an oval bento box, nesting medium container and nesting small container. Or, it can hold the Spencer 3-piece food storage set and a water bottle or hot/cold container.

Mackenzie Wet/Dry Bags

Another versatile item in the Mackenzie collection is the wet/dry bag. It's also made from 600-denier polyester, and it has a 150-denier polyester interior. This bag is water-resistant, so it's great for trips to the pool or the beach. It has a sturdy zipper with a nickel finish, and it can be personalized with your child's name or initials.

Mackenzie Luggage

There are a variety of suitcase selections in the Mackenzie luggage collection. They come in the same styles and colors as the backpacks, lunch bags, and other Mackenzie collection bags.

Mackenzie luggage is available in either Small or Large. The Small size is equivalent to carry-on luggage at most airlines, although regulations may vary. These suitcases are crafted from super-strong ABS, and they have a 150-denier polyester lining. The metal handles and sturdy spinner wheels make transporting these suitcases easy, while the nylon zippers withstand plenty of wear and tear. These suitcases can be personalized for a custom touch.

Other Mackenzie Bags

The Mackenzie collection contains several other bags to choose from. There's the large duffle, which is great for sleepovers and play dates. And, there's even a three-ring binder covered in the same material as the bags for a coordinated look in the classroom. Caring for Mackenzie Collection Pieces

The pieces in the Mackenzie collection are made to be easy-care. If they get dirty, simply wipe them clean with a damp cloth and allow time for air drying. The polyester fabric these bags are made from is extremely stain-resistant, so spills should wipe away easily without leaving any evidence behind.
