Braided Knit Rug
- $399
Add a neutral touch to their room or nursery with our classic rug, hand braided from pure wool and recycled yarns. Rows of soft, chunky braids lend subtle texture and cozy comfort to their space, and the timeless design pairs easily with any decor.
DETAILS THAT MATTER
- Rug is handwoven from 70% wool and 30% polyester.
- Yarn-dyed fiber has incredibly rich color that holds its vibrancy over time.
- Non-slip backing is made of recycled polyester and cotton Gray fabric with odorless synthetic latex adhesive, which makes it non-slip for added safety. The synthetic latex provides a more durable and flexible backing that reduces odor and extends the rug’s life; it does not present a risk to those with latex allergies, nor does it dry out or break down over time.
- Cut pile has softness while resisting matting and crushing.

CARE
Rug Care
- Vacuum regularly on a low-power setting, using a vacuum without a beater brush, to prevent debris from settling into the fibers. For best results, vacuum from different directions, making several passes over the area.
- Spot clean. Remove soil with soft brush. Remove spills immediately; if liquid, blot with clean un-dyed cloth by pressing firmly around the spill to absorb as much as possible. For hard-to-remove stains, professional cleaning is recommended.
- Avoid direct and continuous exposure to sunlight. Use rug protectors under the legs of heavy furniture to avoid flattening piles.
- Natural fibers can become dry and brittle over time with use and may crack or break off, resulting in shedding.
- Shedding of loose fibers is also normal with new rugs and a natural result of being handmade. Shedding should diminish with regular vacuuming and proper care.
- Do not pull loose ends. Clip them with scissors to remove.
- Due to the natural fibers and craftsmanship, minor imperfections may appear in the weave. These are not defects but common occurrences in items of this nature.
- To protect your investment, we recommend using a rug pad. A rug pad provides traction between the rug and floor to prevent slipping. It adds padding and keeps the rug smooth and flat. Extending the life of the rug, a pad protects the canvas backing and prevent s any possible color transfer.
- CAUTION: Use vacuum cleaner without beater brush as it may cause damage.
Rotating Your Rug
- Rotate or reposition your rug every 3-6 months to promote even wear on the surface and extend the life of the rug. Rotating your rug will also aide in a more uniform floor surface patina and decrease the likelihood of the rug pad or exposed backing adhering to the floor surface where they are placed.
- Do not place rugs on hardwood floors that have not had time to completely cure.
